Rankz is operated by Pursuitz LLC. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use the Rankz Shopify app.

1. Information we collect

When you install Rankz, we may collect:

Store data

• Store domain
• Product titles, descriptions, images, tags
• Public product URLs

Usage data

• Feature usage
• App events
• Error logs

Order-level and attribution data (limited)

• Order ID
• Order value and currency
• Product and line item data
• Order timestamps
• Attribution data such as UTM parameters and referrer information

We do not collect:

• Customer personal data (such as names, email addresses, phone numbers, or physical addresses)
• Payment details

2. How we use information

We use collected data to:

• Analyze product visibility in AI-driven discovery systems
• Generate recommendations and insights
• Create optional generated content
• Improve product performance and reliability
• Provide customer support
• Measure AI-attributed conversions and product visibility performance

3. AI processing

Some data is processed using third-party AI services to generate insights and recommendations.
Data is not used to train public AI models.

4. Data sharing

We do not sell store data.
We only share data with:

• Shopify, as required to operate the app
• Infrastructure and AI providers strictly necessary to deliver the service

5. Data retention

We retain store, order-level, and attribution data only for as long as necessary to provide analytics and historical reporting features.

Upon uninstall:

• Store and order-level data is deleted within a reasonable timeframe
• Logs are anonymized or removed

6. Data security

We use industry-standard security practices to protect store data.
All data is encrypted in transit and at rest.
Access is restricted to authorized personnel only.

7. Data minimization

Rankz processes only the minimum data required to provide its services.
We do not access, store, or use customer-level personal data.

8. Shopify data usage

Rankz accesses Shopify store data solely to provide analytics and optimization insights to merchants.
Data is processed in accordance with Shopify’s API Terms and the permissions granted by the merchant during app installation.

9. Merchant control

You can:

• Remove products from analysis
• Disable automated features
• Uninstall the app at any time

10. Children’s privacy

Rankz is not intended for children and does not knowingly collect data from minors.

11. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy. Material changes will be communicated through the app or website.
